Cliffs of Dover dogfight

Hey Guys,

Enough pilots within II./JG 1 now have Cliffs of Dover working correctly, so that we're looking to start trying to do something fun. Nothing too intense, as the game still has problems.

Would the RAF 74 be up for a "dogfight" night sometime during the week or over a weekend?

We have a JG1 server, called "das Adlernest", which is usually up. And we have a few maps in rotation.

If you think this is a good idea, I can extend the invite to the WingWalkers or other groups you'd think would be interested.

We have 3 (maybe 4) pilots who fly CloD. I think a weekend dogfight night would be best to maximise turnout from RAF74. I think the WWs have a few pilots too.

In addition to the WW guys, I've also invited the people JG1 flies with in Ghost Skies.

Hey Guys,

The Wing Walkers aren't sure if they'd be able to make it on the 29th - they haven't been spending any time with Cliffs of Dover and are still getting familiar with the game.

We're still going to move forward with a DF night anyway. And we can of course reschedule some squad vs. squad stuff for later in the year.

If you guys are still up for it, we'll start around 9PM EDT.

I'll post more information as we get closer.

Ok im now up and running with the patch. Should be able to make the 29th, and looking forward to it.

The old friends and enemies back together. Really needed to get past this patch to make a start.

Its a one night event. Good time to start to learn and make some progress in COD.

Id just like to say that i do think we have a future in this sim for multiple reasons.

I totally acknowledge that the developers have work to do.

I totally acknowledge that some members will have an upgrade issue.

But i do think that we will have a long term future with this sim.

Thanks a lot for flying with us last night!

Unfortunately, there were a few technical snafus which made things a bit difficult.

But overall, I thought it was a very good start.

Even Rise of Flight had a bumpy origin. So my hope is that Cliffs of Dover will come into it's own in a patch or two.
