I had the opportunity to stop by the CAF Museum in Mesa, Arizona this week. I had an absolute blast checking out the aircraft and talking to some of those involved. I plan to make this place an "must visit" each time I visit my folks who live nearby.

I have a bunch of images still to download from another memory card. Unfortunately with my other PC down for the time being all I have is my wife's laptop and very limited HD space. I will get some more if you guys care to see

This is a pic of a member of the Arizona Wing of the Commemorative Air Force as he works on "Maid in the Shade" in the CAF Hangar at Falcon Field in Mesa, AZ. Falcon Field may be of interest as it was an area used to train RAF pilots here in the US during WWII. This is a North American Aviation TB-25N "Mitchell". This particular aircraft saw 15 Combat Missions against the Axis in Italy during 44' and 45'.

These guys all donate their time (The ones I talked to show up about 3 days a week to work on these things). They really do a great service keeping these birds flying.

Great shots, mate! Thanks for sharing. I really liked the shot of the B-17 interior. Glad to know the squad has another great photographer. I had a chance to visit the Planes of Fame museum in Chino a couple years ago. You have inspired me to post some pix from that visit :)

Great stuff Loyal! I like that pic of the 'toom, as it was known in the Fleet Air Arm.
