I found out today that I was selected to receive the Leo Loudenslager memorial scholarship. It is a $2000 scholarship toward aerobatic flight training. They rotate the scholarship between The Blue Angels, Thunderbirds and, Snow Birds it was our year this year and I have waited 3 years to apply and now I got it.

Salute Snake!!!!
WOW!!:)!!
Congratulations. You deserve this, and I'll bet you are going to have a ball in the course!
As I hopefully get ready to try for my measly ultralight, ultra noobish semi-flying licence next summer, I am green with envy at your opportunity. I am sure you will make the best of it.
Once again, well deserved, if you are anywhere near as good a real aerobatic pilot as you are a virtual one, you are gonna knock 'em dead! :D
Cheers Buzz

Right on Snake! That is awesome man... well deserved. Did you tell them in your scholarship application that you have 1,283 confirmed online kills in IL2?

Kaimana Aviation is the only aerobatic school I know of in Hawaii so I was planing on going there. They use a cap 10 for the flight training. When I wint to do the show in Hawaii my first year someone from there perfromed in the show in that aircraft.

That is absolutely awesome Snake.
Bring back some pics. You have official serious bragging rights, and we will be waiting with great anticipation to see how it all goes.

S! Snake
I think you're going to enjoy the CAP-10. I've never flown one, but everyone I know that has says it's a very sweet handling aeroplane.
Let us know how you get on.
