I just got windows 7 and I ran a program called windows 7 upgrade advisor. The problem is that it said my video card a nvidia 8800 gts would not run aero and that my processor amd phenom 9500 quad would not run 64 bit although it is marked as a 64 bit processor. Is the advisor wrong? I would hate for my stuff not to work if installed the 64 bit version and enabled aero.

You're all set. I am running 64Bit Win7 and have the same Video Card. Works great. I have a AMD 965 Quad and all is good... How much RAM you planning on having?

Sounds a bit odd to me Snake, the Phenom is definitely 64 bit, and I don't see why the 8800 would struggle with aero.

Yeah the industry is going the 64bit way already. no point on staying with the old 32bit limitation of 3.5Gigs of RAM.
I am pushing 4Gigs of Ram on all my devices and 64Bit Win7.
I have IL2 running on it without issue.
