The RAF74 Dogfight Server currently runs IL2 v4.09 with the Ultrapack v2.01 mods package. To participate you must have the following options set in JSGME:

6DOF_Tracker
Zuti_DSMod_v1.13_UP
Atm_modv3.1Wind_Turb&Prop
RealisticBomb&TorpedoFusing
TougherBridges
TougherTrains

Our server runs objective-oriented maps that are based on historical situations, balanced for playability. We run our maps in a two hour rotation, so there is plenty of time to allow the mission to develop. These maps are designed to take full advantage of the new functionality available in the Zuti Moving Dogfight Server mod, including radar, AI flights, and rearming/refueling/repair options.

Current maps are:

The Winter War, Jan 1940
Operation: Compass, Libya, Jan 1941
Operation: Munich, Bessarabia, Jul 1941
The Christmas Raid, Rangoon, Dec 1941
The Battle of Midway, Jun 1942
Operation: Avalanche, Salerno, Sep 1943
The Falaise Gap, Aug 1944
Slovakia, Nov 1944
El Alamein, Oct 1942
Operation: Jubilee, Dieppe, Aug 1942
The Slovak-Hungarian "Little War", Mar 1939
Operation: Torch, Morocco, Nov 1942

Upcoming maps will include:

The 10th Raid, 8th AF over France, Sep 1942
Battle of France, May 1940
Operation: Cerberus, The Channel Dash, Feb 1942

Please note that RAF74 also hosts the Forgotten Skies online war on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday nights between 2100-2330EST. The dogfight server will be down during these times. If you are interested in the Forgotten Skies war, please go to The Forgotten Skies homepage (http://www.forgottenskies.com) for more information.

Can you flesh out the plane sets and why for these wars and why these maps have been chosen.. Thanks Bimmer.

They've been chosen simply because those are the maps I decided to build. Some are based on offline campaigns I've built previously, others were made to take advantage of new content in 4.09 and UP. Those coming soon are the result of the map building competition that Winger initiated, and are similarly based simply on personal choice of the designers. Ideally, we'll have a good mix of locations and time periods.

Dharma is going to help me put up a page on the site that will detail each map with a planeset listing and some further information.
